Správne použitie "will be or will?"
1. Ja nebudem doma.
I will not be at home.
Nesprávne: I will not at home.
2. Ja nebudem spievať.
I will not sing.
Nesprávne: I will be not sing.
Prečo?
V prvej vete je slovenské "nebudem" vo funkcii plnovýznamového slovesa. To znamená, že ho do angličtiny musíme preložiť pomocou BE.
Naopak v druhej vete je slovenské "nebudem" vo funkcii neplnovýznamového slovesa, čiže ho do angličtiny neprekladáme.
1. Zajtra to bude ľahšie.
It will be easier tomorrow.
It will easier tomorrow.
Samotné WILL ako pomocné sloveso pri tvorbe budúceho času nemá žiadny význam. Na to, aby sme vyjadrili BUDEM (budem existovať) musíme použiť v tomto prípade plnovýznamové BYŤ.
2. Zajtra sa budem učiť.
I will learn tomorrow.
I will be learn tomorrow.
V tejto vete sa nachádza vo funkcii plnovýz. slovesa sloveso UČIŤ SA a nie BYŤ.
Pár základných pravidiel o SHALL/WILL
- nasleduje po nich plnovýznamové sloveso v infinitíve bez častice "to"
They will play. ---> NIE: They will to play - v 1. osobe jednotného a množného čísla môžme použiť buď shall alebo will, will je bežnejšie v hovorovej komunikácií
- zápor: tvoríme pridaním zápornej častice NOT medzi will a be (prípadne iné plnovýznamové sloveso
- otázka: prehodením slovosledu medzi will a plnovýznamovým slovesom:
I will be. ---> Will I be?
I will not be ---> Will I not be?
I won´t be. ---> Won´t I be?
